19 June - Outdoor Painting at the Grange Farm, Grange Road, Hythe CT21 4QS
             Small private farm. Lavatory and parking available on site. No refreshments available,
             please bring your own.

17 July - Outdoor Painting at the New Romney Marsh Visitor Centre, New Romney TN28 8AY
              The Romney Marsh Visitor Centre and Nature Reserve, located just north of New Romney
               on the A259 Dynchurch Road, houses fascinating displays depicting the region's natural &
               social history. It is set in an 11 hectare nature reserve - Romney Warren, a designated Site
               of Special Scientific Interest with dune grassland, special flora, mosses, lichens and
               seasonal ponds.

31 July - Outdoor Painting Day at Vi's House, Brabourne Lees
              Members are invited to and extra panting day Vi Sprawling's house where she has some
              interesting pots & artifacts as well as a small pond in her garden. She would love to see any
              of you who would enjoy a day of painting/sketching and relaxing together. She offers to
              provide snacks & drinks and a warm welcome. Please contact Vi (see Corinne's emails for
              details) if you would like to come.

19-26th August - Annual Exhibition***
            10:00am - 5pm everyday
            The highlight of our year, the Annual Art Exhibition. All members are invited to display
             and sell their most recent artworks, as well as be eligible for the People's Choice Award.  
19 August - Handing-in Day & Preview Evening 
              10am -12noon only! Hand in your paintings for the exhibition at the Tin Tabernacle. Make
              sure your paintings are properly framed and ready to hang with a long attached tie-on label
              to each picture. Browsers have to be mounted on stiff card and covered in clear plastic with
              a label on the top left side.(Please see the 2019 Exhibition rules for further details)
              This is also your chance to make sure you are on the steward's rota. Everyone entering a
              painting must be willing to steward during the show. Anyone not offering to steward is subject
              to a higher commission rate (40% rather than the standard 20%)
              6:30 - 9:00 pm Private preview evening with complementary drinks and nibbles
26 August - Collection day
              4pm - 5pm Collection of any unsold pictures. Unsold pictures may not be removed until the
              this time. A charge of £10 will be made if pictures are not collected at the specified time. You
              may have another HAS member collect your picture for you if you are not able to do so at
              that time.
